I'm Priyanku Hazarika, the developer behind Sleeping Asteroid - a home for experiments, side projects, and ideas that keep orbiting back until they're built.
Over the years, I've worked with startups and independent projects, building software across the web, cloud, and emerging technologies. I enjoy turning ideas into working products, exploring unfamiliar technologies, and solving problems that can be simplified through software.
My toolkit includes JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, Vue, AWS, Python and a range of databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB. I also enjoy working with technologies and protocols at the intersection of software and hardware, such as OCPP, electric vehicle infrastructure, and distributed systems.
Curiosity is what drives most of my work. You'll often find me exploring blockchain, distributed ledger technologies, DevOps, cloud architecture, and anything that challenges me to learn something new.
Beyond the screen, I enjoy sketching, painting, go-karting, sim racing, and following Formula 1. Whether it's building software, learning a new skill, or chasing the perfect racing line, I'm always looking for the next interesting problem to solve.
I value collaboration, thoughtful engineering, and continuous learning. Above all, I enjoy building things that are useful, interesting, and occasionally a little unconventional.
